Some people are given gifts by [insert higher power here] to do things that none of us mere mortals can do. Fewer of them have the opportunity to take their gifts to the main stage and live out their dreams. The stakes in professional sports are very high and there is a small window of opportunity to take advantage of athletic talents while they are young. So when the Utah Jazz's Derek Fischer's daughter's life was jeopardized by cancer in her left eye, what did he do?
