Robert Summa"s team wrote:

"An online haven for new dads, created by two fathers fed up with a laxk of proper info on how to be a new poppa, noodad.com is a site geared for dads to be and those looking for answer in their child"s early years."

Welcome to Noodad

Posted on 03 12, 2006 under Press by foodad | Comments

We were started by 2 guys who realized fumbling through fatherhood did not have to be a solitary experience. Whether we forgot to put vaseline on the diaper, dressed our kids in dirty outfits, or put entire playhouses together incorrectly, we took solace in knowing we weren’t alone in our plight.

We are not experts and should not be taken as such. We are simply a bunch of guys that love our kids, love and respect our spouses, and are willing to share acquired knowledge.

Sometimes we will have the answer. Most time we won’t. But you will have a vehicle to vent and a place to hear other dads like you say, “That sucks bro.”

There is tons of content for your reading pleasure:

The Manual serves up articles of instructions after your kid comes. There are articles ranging from a good way to change a diaper, to tips in making Macaroni and Cheese. Here are a few of our most popular “The Manual” articles:

Stop Smoking Around Your Kids (You Selfish Asshole)

How to Check Email With a Kid on Your Lap

One Way to Change a Diaper

Predad is the destination for all things leading up to the birth or adoption of your kid. Here are a few of our most popular “Predad” articles:

Doodads highlights products we love and hate as well as directions to put together things. Here are a few of our most popular “Doodads” articles:

Pacifiers: Love Them or Hate Them?
Stroller Mania
The Definitive Guide on Sippy Cups

Her is a collection of articles geared towards taking care of the mother. Once you do that, you will find, you both win. Here are a few of our most popular “Her” articles:

The Noodad Breastfeeding Dictionary
Give Her Flowers…or Get You Death

And Brokedad covers subjects that have to do with money and finances with your kids. It can range from topics on allowances to paying for vacations. Here are a few of our most popular “Brokedad” articles:

So chime in and help a brotha out or don’t and simply enjoy the spectacle.

It"s not often, but every once in a while I read a book that makes me laugh, and cry, and everything in between, even in public, so that I have to look around and squeamishly wonder who might be watching.
