Are Lingerie Parties For Real?

Are you kidding me? Is it true that women are actually doing lingerie parties instead of tupperware parties these days? According to a post at MomLogic.com, “Gal pals drink cocktails and chat while a hot brunette models the lingerie, and a lingerie boutique owner takes their orders.”

Ummm. Is this honestly for real or some twisted joke? Please answer these great mysteries if you know the answer.

In case any women are wondering: us men don’t get together for poker night. Instead we drink beer and burp while a buff model wears banana hammocks, and a boutique owner take our orders. There. I said it.

I used to be the one taking orders at Ann Summers parties, which is equally focused on lingerie and adult toys. It was such alot of fun to do. I wish I was still able to do it, but I live in a small village now, and can't travel far anymore.

I wouldn't go to a party focused purely on lingerie though. Probably because it'd be a waste of money for me to buy any, plus I'm a whale. nowt would look good on me.

And the fun is in buying as well as the socialising.

oh yeah and did you see the article in the latest boston mag about the cohasset swingers? i for one have never been to the lingerie parties but it would seem to lend itself for interesting conversations. no thank you.
