The Best Keeps Getting Better: The Vincent Shoes Fall Collection
Posted on 09 13, 2007 under Doodads by Noodad | Comments
In March I had the pleasure of reviewing the Stan Shoe from Vincent Shoes. In my review I called them, "…the most badass pair of shoes you will ever come across. The most stylish, trendy and amazing pair of shoes you can ever imagine."
If you were to get a review like this, you may be tempted to just hang up your tools and just pimp out your designs until the cows come home. After all, why bother redesigning when you already have "the most badass pair".
Well, it is my great pleasure to tell you that Vincent Shoes have outdone themselves. Their fall collection has done the impossible: made a more badasser pair of shoes.
Scratch that: multiple pairs of badasser shoes, a few pairs of boots, some sandals, and some slippers. Never have I seen such an amazing collection of unique, stylish, and affordable shoes for kids. I know ReviewDad is down with RileyRoos , but Noodad says, these are better.
I had the opportunity to test out 3 pairs of shoes from the Vincent Shoes Fall Collection:
- The Sam : a tennis shoe with a cool mix of leather and suede $59.95
- The Smith : A unique striped tennis shoe $44.95
- The Viktoria : A high fashion boot $59.95
So what qualifies these shoes at the upper echelon of the badass scale? The first thing you will notice with these shoes is how excited your kids will be when they see them. Kids love the rich colors, the bold shapes, and the fancy enclosures. You will love the fact that they look trendy but not easily outdated.
The Sam has a nice large velcro strap for tightening the shoe. It is enough velcro so that it doesn't fall off your kid's feet but easy enough that they can put them on and take them off themselves.
The stripes on the Smith shoe makes a bold statement on your kid's feet and looks great with jeans.
The Viktoria looks like a trendy power boot that you would see on some model walking down the trendy streets of your town.
Of course, as the Stan shoe before them, all of these shoes are well-made and super comfortable. Believe me when I tell you that if they weren't, I would hear it from the kids.
These are not your typical Walmart shoes, my friends. These are for those who want to outfit their kids with the best. Sure, you could find a pair of shoes with the laces tied together in the $5 bargain bin at KMart, but they will fall apart and let's face it, they will look like every other kid on the playground.
I can't possible rate these fabulous shoes any higher. Omigod, did I really just say "fabulous"?
