The Diaper Genie

Looks awesome right? You"re a gadget guy. You value ingenuity. A Poodad Sausage made of proprietary plastic casings! There is no question that the Diaper Genie is the best for odorless diaper disposal. But tell me this: are you prepared to buy proprietary Diaper Genie bags for your entire baby"s diaper wearing years? I wasn"t. I could put up with a little stink for a whole lot of flexibility in trash bags. If you have a real problem with the stink (and if your kid hasn"t started eating meat yet, you haven"t smelled anything yet) save the small plastic bags from the grocery store and use those to individually wrap the poodad diapers.

If you don\'t change or empty any diaper whiz-o-magic device, it\'s gunna stink. So save your money, buy an affordable one, and empty it every few days. More often in the summer. And use the extra $$ for Disney On Ice...

You learn to do it longer than ever when emptying those things. We still use our Diaper Champ for pee diapers but for poodads, we wrap them in individual plastic bags.

I have to ask, though... When you open those things to empty them, isn\'t the smell concentrated to the point where it\'s peeling the paint off the walls?

Plus it has a system like the drive through window at the bank. You make your deposit and it slides up the chute and disappears. Well actually it just flips down into the bag. But it is cool.

Get a Diaper Champ instead. Controls the stink and uses any old plastic bag. Diaper Champ at Amazon
