Should Breastfeeding Videos Be Banned By YouTube?

Breastfeeding is a natural and very exciting thing for a dad to witness. As we have written before, although it may seem like an erotic peepshow jackpot for predads thinking they will get to ogle their wives’ monster jugs every few hours, they will quickly realize that it is sadly, not the case.

But is breastfeeding obscene? Apparently Facebook thought so. They banned pictures of breastfeeding on their site. Then when a video montage of women breastfeeding was put together by a mom in protest and published on YouTube, they banned it too.

According to the League of Maternal Justice (Sweet name BTW):

A mom-produced internet protest video attacking Facebook’s banning of breastfeeding pictures was itself banned by the popular video sharing service Youtube after gaining recognition as the top-five most discussed of its day. The email from Youtube stated that it was due to the video’s inappropriate content/inappropriate nature. A group of moms called Youtube’s action hypocritical and harmful, and pointed to dozens of sexually explicit and harmful videos currently allowed on the service.

  • I think theres nothing wrong on posting this kind of video, for only desperate pervert would think of something about these videos, well this kind of videos will help a lot of new mothers as a guideline in breastfeeding
  • Wait, does it mean that all breastfeeding video should be places on red or hot tube now? I know, someone would say that "breastfeeding video is not a learning tool, just a pervert", but I know a lot of women who share their problems associated with feeding and help each other to overcome them. It's not as easy as it may seem.
  • Absolutely not! Breastfeeding photos and videos should not be banned because it's not bad for the public to see. For as long as it's not obscene than for me it's ok, we can put a PG rated for viewing.

    Showing videos of yourself breastfeeding is ridiculous not to mention pointless. Most of the women seem to be doing it just to prove a point but they are having the opposite effects because millions of perverts are now watching these vids and getting off on it. There is no reason to expose breastfeeding like this if it's really about bonding with your child or just feeding your child. It's necessary to feed your child, taping it is not.
  • This really sounds funny, why does someone wanted to show that they are breast feeding, do they have enough reasons? are they teaching the proper way of breast feeding?.. posting it on youtube or facebook just for fun was just like giving someone reason take a peep at their nippies..

    Breast Feeding is a bond between mother and baby. Why do pictures of it need to be posted all over the internet? What you do with your child should remain YOUR BUSINESS.I support the bann.
  • I second that.. breast feeding is an personal issue and if it's banned on a certain website ..so it be. Who cares... and why do u want to show the whole world about you feeding your beloved baby?
