The Top 7 Babes in Children’s Television

So the kids are watching the tv and you notice something out of the corner of the eye. Amidst the puppets, cartoons, and claymation, you spot a sight for sore eyes: you spot a babe. Yes, noodads, you would be surprised how good looking kids television has become.
But before you go on thinking you will tune into Sprout instead of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show you need to cool your jets and finish reading this article. This isn’t Baywatch, this is still children’s programming. Here is a list of the Top 7 Babes in Children’s Television:
1. Genevieve Goings from Choo Choo SoulThe sultry engineer of the Playhouse Disney Animated short, Genevieve dances around the rail car with collagen lips and tight shirts. |
2. Lisa Lennox from the DoodlebopsDon’t let the blue face throw you. Dee Dee Doodle is one hot pseudo-human band member. And this year, there was a minor controversy when the skirts got shorter and tighter. No complaints here. |
3. Alison Bartlett OReilly from Sesame StreetAs the Sesame Street vet, Dr. Gina Jefferson, this woman is really the only thing remotely attractive on the show. |
4. Michele Lepe from Sprout’s The Goodnight ShowReplacing the equally hot Melanie Martinez, this latin hottie, known as “Nina” is nice on the eyes every night on the Goodnight Show. |
5. Wendy from Bob the BuilderThe hottest piece of clay on the planet. Wendy has the perfect phone-sex husky voice and she can use her some tools too! Now that is hot. |
6. Laurie Berkner from Jack’s Big Music Show on NogginLaurie Berkner pops up every once in awhile singing her songs and jumping up and down with her guitar. Best known for her song, “Bumblee Bee (Buzz Buzz)” her song will be stuck in your head for days. |

Ok ladies, don\’t think that I forgot about you…being that I, myself, am a lady:
1)Bob the Builder-HELLO!?! Who doesn\’t love a man with a tool belt?
2)Handy Mandy-Again, who doesn\’t love a man in a tool belt? And he\’s Latino-extra hotness.
3)Levar Burton-You know…he used to play the fella with the glasses on Star Trek now he\’s enriching the lives of children through literature. A man that reads for fun!?! Sign me up.
4)Man in the Yellow Hat from Curious George-I don\’t know what he does for a living. I don\’t know what\’s under that hat. I don\’t know why this man keeps a wild animal as a best friend but I DO know that the mystery of it all has me intrigued.
5 and 6)The Kratt Brothers from Zooboomafoo-super cute, super smart, and super excited about animals. Have you checked them out in their khaki shorts? Great legs and bum, right? Totally.
7)Dad/Harold Shrinks from George Shrinks-Yummm a musician and inventor…You know what they say about musicians, right? I don\’t know either. But nevermind that-he\’s got the goatee going on and the crazy hair and he\’s for sure working the whole \”Family Man\” thing as he invents things for his vertically challenged son, George.

Michele Lepe is #1 in my book. When she\’s on screen, Star doesn\’t exist for me. That Choo Choo girl is a close second. If Sagwa was a real girl instead of a cat, she\’d be pretty hot, too.
Is there a list for CNN personalities? If so, Linda Stouffer is #1 in my book.

I don\’t get the whole Melanie Martinez thing - I\’m glad she\’s gone. She was far from cute and extremely annoying. Michele (Nena), though - woohoo! She\’s more than hot. I\’m not big at all on the \’Choo Choo\’ girl. Laurie Berkner? She\’s got great boobs and my wife agrees, so we watch her with the kids.

I think that Lisa from the Doodlebops should be at number 1 and not Genevieve Goings from Choo Choo Soul I think that she belongs at the bottom of the list. That is because Lisa is my Role Model and my Girl and no matter what she will always be number 1 along with The Crocodile Huntress Terri Irwin and Vivian B. McLaughlin from Out of the Box.

Did you know she won best all around in her school polls?!?! She was a star since the day she was born. I am so blessed to have a friend as talented as her. She is so beautiful and deserves to be #1. But she is even more beautiful and HUMBLE on the inside as she is on the out.

My kids have been watching Choo Choo Soul since the day it came out… she has brought so much joy to my kids lives and now they appreciate music and dancing like all kids should. On another note there is no one else that could replace her as #1….

I think that Ross guy from the Kidz Network (www.kidznetwork.com) which shows on Daystar every Saturday morning is incredibly handsome… and strong looking. Yeah. He should be in this conversation somewhere.

True story, as told to me. A few years ago, I was in Houston, working on IT-related litigation, and two lawyers and I went out to lunch. One of the lawyers mentioned that he had a birthday party coming up for one of his kids that weekend — and talked about hiring a clown, a pony, etc.
The other lawyer mentioned that he had taken his son (8-ish) to a friend’s birthday party a few weeks earlier. He said that the parents of the birthday girl had thrown a ‘Kim Possible’-themed birthday party and had hired a ‘live action’ Kim Possible to be there. He said that this ‘Kim Possible’ was in her early 20s, was drop-dead gorgeous in that wholesome ‘Kim Possible’ sort of way, and was wearing the trademark bare-midriff Kim Possible outfit (see drawing above).
He also said that all the fathers at the party were having a _very_ hard time keeping their eyes off of Kim Possible.

As a father of 3 in my late 20’s, I sometimes feel like a VERY creepy old man when I find myself more transfixed to Nina on the Good Night Show than my infant daughter.

Great list. I’ll second DaddyDayCare’s nomination of Pinky from Hip Hop Harry. Just saw it for the first time this morning. It’s an insipid show, but it had my 18 month old dancing and is 100 times better than Barney. In fact, it’s pretty much the same show, just hipper.
Genevieve Goings deserves to be at the top of the list, but Michelle Lepe does it for me. My daughter and I watch The Goodnight Show every night. My wife figured out why the other night when Nina was teaching yoga.

I vote for “Captain Hupette” from Four-Square. You’d have to be watching the Treehouse channel, available in Toronto, Canada.
Must be rather cold where they film the dance segment. Skin tight outfits. My guess is only the guys wear anything underneath - judging by what appears to be a codpiece.
