I\'ve learned a lot while catching up with noodad tonight. Thanks!

A shorter answer to #3: If taking paternity leave hurts your reputation at work, your employers are assholes.

5 1/2 years ago, with boy #1, I got laid off when he was 6 weeks old. I\'ve been home ever since as a stay-at-home/work-at-home dad. If you\'re hesitant about taking all of the time, then just take some of it. Sounds hokey, but you\'ll never get this time back again.
