Giving Thanks

two9This week, here in the states, we are celebrating Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time to gorge yourself with food high in carbohydrates, mingle with family members you haven't seen since last Thanksgiving, and of course, watch football.

But the part of Thanksgiving that I enjoy the most, (besides the green bean casserole with the fried onions on top), is the time to recognize what I am thankful for.

Today's article will be a little bit of what I am thankful for this Thanksgiving. I encourage you all to post a comment of what you are thankful for as well.

I, Noodad, this Thanksgiving, am thankful for:

• My beautiful and patient wife, who agreed to marry me 7 years ago and who gave birth to my two wonderful kids and eagerly signed up to do it a third time.

• My daughter who constantly challenges me to unwrap myself from her finger.

• My son who motivates me to be a better dad and a better living room rug wrestler.

• My son (in utero) who continues to be healthy and humors me when I tell him jokes through the belly button.

• Foodad, who is the best Noodad.com partner I could have ever hoped for and who taught me how to hold my own at the poker table.

• Nintendo and Sony, who have released the PS3 and Wii just in time to make my Christmas list.

and finally,

• For Leroy Jenkins : who went against the grain, and attacked a problem head on. He is an inspiration.
