Is Gymboree a Kid Country Club?

Posted on 04 11, 2006 under The Manual by Noodad | Comments

Both my kids attended Gymboree classes and it was a really good experience for them. The classes gave my kids a chance to socialize with other kids their age. The format allowed my kids to explore, develop, and learn.

It was also a very good experience for my wife, who at the time of my daughter"s birth, was dealing with being a first time mom, a stay-at-home mom, and a new mom to the area. We moved to the sticks 2 months before my daughter was born and when we moved, my wife and I did not know anybody. To Tot Lok or Not: A Lesson in Laziness

Flying With Babies and Toddlers

Posted on 03 03, 2006 under The Manual by Noodad | Comments

My kids have flown many times in their short lives. In fact my daughter is not even 4 and she has flown to Hawaii twice, California 4 times, and Florida at least 6 times. This is due to the fact that we live in Boston and our families do not. Vacations that involve flying with kids can best be summed up for me by, "Great being there, miserable getting there." It can be the most stressful thing in the world.
