‘So, there I was . . . just relaxing in front of the T.V. and then the kids yelled, “Hey Dad, come see the kittens.”

  • Nice blog with nice picture of cuties. Can't see the front of them but I knew they are cute and adorable.
  • At first I wonder how could the author give warning about poor little kittens. Then I realize he is referring to skunks. I find this funny. Lucky they are just babies.
  • Haha ... good thing baby skunks do not spray.
  • Kids are kids and it will be a rewarding idea to be with them while they play.
  • There are no dull moments with children. If you want to enjoy life, be with kids.
  • Ya, those are rally nice!! Your kids has done a great job. Those are very little but wonderful creatures.
  • We had actually shot a mother skunk once on our farm (was getting into the chicken coops and spraying - really big mess cleaning chickens) and she had a baby behind her.
  • I think they hang around and night & if you come down the stairs and in any way startle them, they spray. Our front door has a mail slot...which the smell seeps through and permeates most of our downstairs. It's a treat. Our new front door will be without that mail slot, that's a fact.

  • Their innocence are very cute and we can learn good lessons from it.
  • Very cute kids...innocent and humorous.

  • As kids in Maine, we had to take turns catching the baby skunks so that we could "relocate" them. My favorite method was a cardboard box with a stick and a string. =)
  • Cute find indeed. I wonder how's these "babies" look now... it's been quite a while.
  • I really love this photo of the kids. Good thing baby skunks do not spray. We had actually shot a mother skunk once on our farm (was getting into the chicken coops and spraying - really big mess cleaning chickens) and she had a baby behind her.
  • Your title is creepy and when I read the body, I realized that there's nothing to be aware at.
  • haha :) hope they didn't get sprayed though
  • That's a funny, yet creepy relocation experience! What a way to welcome you into your new neighborhood. :)
  • MominMa
That's awesome. We recently moved to Hingham from Chicago and have discovered that we have a few skunks in the neighborhood.

  • I suppose the next time I move I should pay attention to the fauna in the area, I wouldn't enjoy having skunks as my neighbors. I loved the little "kittens" tell, it's the funniest thing I've read lately.

That is fabulous! I hope none of them were sprayed.

  • Ahhhha, very cute!! Were the kids upset when you had to tell no, they could not have one?
  • This is a great photo. The innocence and curiosity of children is precious.
  • Hahahaha... very great snap!

  • Never saw baby skunks before. Where was the "kittens" mom?

I am so glad you can see the humor in this.
